About Me

Hello!
Thanks for stopping by, it’s a pleasure to have you here!
A little bit about me ….
I love to travel, travel is in my blood and I’ve been so lucky that my family didn’t discourage it! I have lived in 4 different countries (Peru, Ireland, U.S.A, and my home country of Canada) and wouldn’t mind adding another one (or more) to the list!
I love getting lost – it really doesn’t bother me … except that one time that my best friend and I got lost and went through the same toll four separate times and on our fourth time through he asked me if I had been paying attention to the map at all… that bothered me (but only because we had to pay each time!).
I love to read – I read a lot and always have a book with me (I even have teeny tiny books for those days that I can’t bring a large tote!)
I enjoy singing (it doesn’t mean I can sing)
When I’m not planning a trip, I’m crafting … I’m a bit geeky that way! Right now I have two quilts on the go, a dress, and a new top – I’m a bit old-fashioned, mixed with a little modern.
I don’t follow sports, but I do enjoy sporting events! I had a great time at a ball game in Chicago last summer and I love to watch play-off hockey – it’s so much more intense than regular season hockey!
Sometimes I come across as a little mean, but I swear I’m just shy
Five Things I Can’t Live Without : My best friend, my passport, my camera … hmmm, apparently I can live with only three things!
My Friends Describe Me As : Kooky, Sweet, Slightly Crazy (but in a good way), A little weepy (who doesn’t cry during Doctor Who??)
The Last Book I Read : The Nazi Officer’s Wife
One thing I hope : That you have an amazing day!

I am currently unemployed and loving it!

I enjoy travel, eating, visiting with friends and taking pictures.

I can’t live without my camera or diet coke.
